ARTIST STATEMENT:

Rooted in the rugged beauty of Colorado, my photography is a reflection of wild places and fleeting moments that often go unnoticed. From windswept alpine ridges to quiet forest trails, I’m drawn to the raw, untamed character of the landscape and the wildlife that calls it home. My work seeks to capture not just what these places look like, but what they feel like—the stillness before sunrise, the tension of an approaching storm, the quiet presence of an animal moving through its world.

While Colorado remains my creative anchor, my lens has followed moments of magic beyond its borders. In Hawaii, I’ve found beaches full of turtles. California has offered dramatic coastlines and golden light that shifts by the minute, while the Tetons have delivered a sense of scale and grandeur that’s both humbling and inspiring.

Across each of these places, my goal remains the same: to tell honest stories of the natural world, to preserve its beauty, and to invite others to slow down and see it more deeply. Every image is a reminder that the wild is still out there—quiet, powerful, and worth protecting.
