After moving to Colorado in 2004 I discovered my artistic voice.  Colorado changed how I see and appreciate beauty. I am inspired by what brings me joy and am drawn to bright and bold colors.

My work is rooted in the impasto style, defined by an emphasis on texture and physical depth. Whether through thick, layered paint or hand formed metal, texture is central to my process. 

In my metal work I fuse silver onto copper in my original creations to build contrast, depth, and texture. Alongside these works I create upcycled creations that embrace reclaimed materials and their natural imperfections, giving them renewed purpose and meaning.
