Ashley DeJaynes
Ashley is a Colorado-based visual artist whose work is deeply inspired by the vivid landscapes and natural beauty of her home state. A lifelong lover of art, she grew up surrounded by creativity—her passion nurtured by a family of painters on her father’s side. This early influence laid the foundation for her artistic journey and shaped her connection to painting as both expression and exploration.
She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from the University of Colorado Denver, where she honed her technical skills and developed her unique artistic voice. Her work celebrates the rich textures and vibrant colors found in Colorado’s diverse natural scenery, translating her love for the outdoors into expressive, colorful compositions.
In addition to her landscape and nature-inspired pieces, Ashley is known for her vibrant and heartfelt custom pet portraits. Capturing the unique personality of each animal, these commissioned works reflect her keen eye for detail.
She has also shared her love of painting with others through teaching, including leading classes at Pinot’s Palette in Fort Collins. Whether hiking through the Rockies, painting a beloved pet, or working in the studio, she finds continual inspiration in the interplay of light, color, and emotion in the world around her.
