Curtis Stoesz

Curtis graduated from Kansas City Art Institute and studied at Yale Summer School. Since, he has worked at teaching, warehousing, painting theatrical sets, and writing. Currently his three beautiful daughters have given him 5 grandchildren. In a new chapter of his life, there is a laser focus on making art from a therapeutic standpoint. Traditional impressionism and mid century modern abstract art inspires and informs his image making. He often explores controversial social and spiritual ideas using geometric designs, complex textures, text, and photographic collages. Going beyond techniques and craft, he often tends towards the dramatic story telling function of art, making it more accessible for the average viewer. On his adventure to seek out and publish beauty and truth he invites you to enjoy his discoveries.
