Homestead Fine Art Gallery Introduces The Student Art Wall
Homestead Fine Art Gallery is excited to make space for the next generation of local artists with The Student Art Wall, proudly sponsored by The Standing Pines Foundation.
The Student Art Wall provides a dedicated gallery space for young artists from Berthoud and Thompson Valley High Schools to share their work with the community. New artwork will be featured each month, with the display hung and cared for by the students themselves—giving them not only an opportunity to showcase their creativity, but also valuable experience presenting their work in a professional gallery setting.
There is incredible artistic talent among young people in our community. Sometimes, the biggest challenge isn't finding the talent—it's creating the opportunity for it to be seen. The Student Art Wall gives these emerging artists a space of their own and invites the community to discover and support their work.
As the project puts it, “The talent exists. The barrier is opportunity.”
We are grateful to The Standing Pines Foundation for sponsoring this program and helping create meaningful opportunities for young artists in Northern Colorado.
Visitors are invited to stop by regularly to see what's new—the Student Art Wall will feature new work every month.
