Zack Feldman has been drawing and making art as far back as he could hold a pencil. Growing up in California, Texas, and England, he was inspired to create from his father’s travels abroad. Stories of jungles and bizarre creatures started a long and enduring love for animals and the wilds of nature.

Moving to Colorado in 1997, he lived with his parents and younger brother in Loveland. He attended Colorado State University, receiving degrees in Graphic Design and Art Education. These were employed in the establishment of a charter school in Loveland, Loveland Classical Schools, where Zack taught for eleven years, served in administration, coached teachers, and served as department head of the Fine Arts (Music and Art) department at the Middle and High School site.

Zack works in oil paint, acrylic, and ink primarily, working out of his home studio in the hills west of Berthoud. Storytelling is a primary component of each piece, and for some strange reason, birds seem to show up frequently as well. He shares his mountain home with his lovely wife Lia, wonderful daughter Zoe, a devious black cat named Snorkel, and two giant dogs, Yukon and Eyja.
